  1. I think that Julie is different because she is a stay at home mom and she makes home cooked meals. It is a lot more different then what Carly's mom did and it was also surprising to Carly that Julie calls her kids "Honey". It was very interesting and i can't wait to here what happens next.

  2. Julie's real mother seems kind of tough and just a tiny bit stuck-up. She thinks crying is for losers, and she would laugh at Carley with her friends when she cried.
But now, her foster mother, Julie Murphy, seems very gentle and nice, (and makes home-made foods?). The whole family seems all loving and caring, and Julie didn't seem to care that much when an accident happened (when Carley knocked over and shattered the photo.). She seems like a mother that would give a happy, and healthy life to Carley, but for now, Carley just wants her birth mother.

My question: Is Julie Murphy just... acting? Because sometimes mothers could act like a whole different person when a "guest" is around.

  3. Juilie is a mom that cares a lot for the girl ( I think her name is Carla?), and unlike the girl's real mom,
She doesn't think crying is for losers, and she actually cooks homemade food, while the girl's real mom
would buy a brand of food.I think the book Is already getting interesting, with the mysterious injury and all.

  4. Carley's mom seemed like a great role model. She uses to say never cry. But after the incident, she landed in a foster care and left on the steps of the Murphy’s. Julie Murphy, mother of 3 boys, seemed very patient, loving and caring. She cooks home cooked meals instead of store bought and called her sons honey. Carley’s real mom and Julie, her foster mom doesn't actually seem to be the same. But that’s just a few details, who knows, maybe they’re not really who they seem to be.

  6. I think Juilie is a cheery mother of two kids, while Carley's real mother is tough. She thinks that crying is for losers and that you can't be a loser. Julie also cooks homemade food, unlike Carley's mom,who just buys store brand food. The book is so interesting already, with the injury and all.

  7. I think Julie is different because she makes homemade pasta and Carly's mom did not make homemade past. also when Carly broke the picture Julie did not get mad. Julie calls her kid "honey" which Carly's mother did not call her that
