Reminders:

Earthquake Proof Building


Criteria:
  • -       each story of your building can be no taller than a grade 6 math textbook
  • -       can not have more mass than grade 6 math textbook
  • -       the lego person cannot be attached to or supported by the building in anyway
  • -       must be able to see the lego person from the outside
  • -       must have enough room around the lego person so that it can tip over
  • -       you must be able to remove stories from each other
  • -       the winner will be the building that has the lego person standing or the one that can withstand the most shaking
  • -       the winner will be calculated by how high the lego person is located

    You need to hand in:
  • -       your finished successful design
  • -       explanation of why you built it this way
  • -       the results chart
