Today, we had Mrs. Lim come and talk to our class about earthquakes. We are starting a project to design an earthquake proof building.

Here are some of the things Mrs. Lim wanted you to keep in mind:

Earthquake Proof Building
-  Design/drawing
- explain why you built it this way
- test and record results
- change design and retest
- do this as many times as necessary

- math Grade 6, 6.5 textbook #1, 3
- math Grade 7, 4.4 workbook
- Science, mapping out volcanoes and earthquakes due on Friday
- look for materials at home that you could use to construct your earthquake proof building
