Thank you so much, Division 1,  for the surprise early birthday party!  Thank you especially to Taj, Hillary, Perneet and Anmol and Ms. Sandhu for organizing it as well as Ms. McQuillan, Ms. Walia and Mrs. Grewal.  The cake, decorations and food were lovely and totally unexpected.

Reminders for tomorrow:
- arrive at 7:45
- we will be returning by approximately 6:00

Dress as follows for the fieldtrip:

What to bring:
  • On warm sunny days bring swimming shorts and/or a swimsuit, and bring a towel.
  • If you prefer you may bring shoes that can get wet, such as good walking sandals with grip that are strapped to your feet. In colder weather rain boots and warm wool socks. No flip flops or crocs please. Remember to bring spare dry shoes for later.
  • Layer of polypropylene long underwear, polar fleece, or a thin wool sweater for anyone who may get chilled easily or during cooler temperatures
  • Plastic bag in which to put wet clothes and shoes after you change.
  • An extra sweater to wear after your rafting trip as it can be cold in your wet wetsuit
  • Rain gear, jackets and pants if it’s forecast for a wet day.
  • Bring your sunscreen and leave any valuables & jewellery at home
  • For survivor wear athletic, comfortable clothing and running shoes
  • Do not wear cotton such as Jeans and T-Shirts while rafting as it retains cold against your body.

For Monday:
- reading journal
-  complete the VoteCompass BC online and discuss with family
