Friday, March 15

What a busy last day before Spring Break!  We practised songs for the Voices of Nature concert in the gym in the morning.  Then, there were Speech Presentations after recess.  We started a new Social Studies project about mummification after the speeches.  Then after lunch we had watched a performance from an art group called Go Go Bonkers in the gym.

The Social Studies assignment about mummification is due on Thursday, April 3rd.  The majority of it needs to be completed during the break.  There will only be two class periods given after Spring Break to work on it.

Here is the information handed out about it:

-       - a definition of mummification

  1. Hi Ms. Kooner, I have a question regarding this project. Tony has completed his, however did not make his Sarcophagus out of paper but out of homemade clay, is this okay or does he need to redo it and actually make it out of paper? He said he was allowed to make it out of something other then paper but reading this I wasn't sure that he has done it the way you wanted it done. Please answer the message he sent you on his blog so that we know that what he has completed is okay. Thank You
