Today, we had a surprisingly wintery day of snow. We had a chance to play and help clear the front driveway by making snowmen.

Today, we worked on our speeches and on math in the morning as well as peeked in on the Canadian Women's gold hockey game. It was. Rey exciting when they won in overtime during our lunch break. We shared this moment with other students who were visiting our classroom during their lunch break.

Today was a very productive Valentine's Day. We celebrated Valentine's Day by doing a craft with our little buddies and by participating in Jump Rope for Heart.
On Monday we will have a special assembly highlighting the Olympics. Our class represents the country of Finland. If you have not finished colouring your flag, you need to do so at home. Also wear blue and white and feel free to creativity represent your country.

Today we had the pleasure of participating in a Mystery Skype with an international class of grade 3/4 students in Venezuela. We learned about their location, weather, currency, national anthem, typical foods and currency. Here are some photos showing our Skype session.

I would like to welcome Ms. Neufeld to our classroom. She will be working with us on Wednesdays and Ms. Grewal will be working as an LST teacher 4 days a week. Ms. Kooner will continue to work Monday and Tuesday as well as Thursday and Friday and her day off has changed to Wednesday.
