What a great atmosphere at our Terry Fox Run and a day of learning during Orange Shirt Day!

Students also began to learn proper typing skills.  They can practise them at home at the following link: Typing Club

- Math grade 5, textbook page 8,  #3,4
- bring a set of earbuds/headphones to use at school (nothing expensive please)

Thursday, September 21

We have been working hard on learning our times tables and discussing how many different ways to make different numbers.  Remember to practise your times tables for 10 minutes every day.  We've also been discussing books we love, building reading stamina and have learned about the 40 Book Challenge.

Please share with your families the following:
- what is the 40 Book Challenge?
- what is the Rugged Canadian Challenge? When is the completion date for it?

Reminders:
- bring a recorder or $8 to school by Monday for Music
- complete "Ish" picture by tomorrow
- return all of your forms (Terry Fox form needs to be signed at the bottom)
- grade 6 immunization form
- Spirit Day tomorrow - wear Spirit Wear or green/white/black
