Wow! What a busy day! We had guest speakers in the morning who talked to us about goal setting and career planning. We had an optometrist and an accountant talk to us today. This is in addition to the judge and lawyer we talked to yesterday. 

In the afternoon, we had an Amazing Race challenge for the grade 7's. Some of the clues were quite challenging.

A notice has gone home about grade 7 camp. Please read, sign and return. Have a great weekend!

Today was our last visit to Suncreek Senior's Centre. We've learned a lot from our big buddies.

Our classroom is a busy place right now.  Students are hard at work learning their lines for our class play and working on their Science Fair projects.  We will begin our Science Fair presentations on February 12th.

Today, we had the Jump Rope for Heart Assembly.  We loved our energetic mascot! Students are bringing home a package explaining Jump Rope for Heart.

Today, we began practising Julius Caesar and it was a great start.  Remember to practise your parts at home.

We also finished reading Iqbal.  Here is a video to watch if you would like to learn more about him.

Ms. Bailer, our student teacher, taught a lesson on First Nations Totems. Students need to write a blogpost about the animal that they chose as their totem and what it stands for.  Here are some webpages for reference.
