Today we had an excellent Skype call with our friends in Croatia. We learned about their currency, government, culture and schools. We were surprised to learn that they liked North American pop music and that their money called the kuna is worth about $0.18 Canadian for 1 krun. We also learned that 80% of their poplulation is Catholic. To learn more about what we found out please read our student blogs.

Wow, what a busy day! Everyone was trying hard to sell all of their products during the Entrepreneur Fair. It was great to listen to everyone's sales pitch and to see them promoting their products. Because we had two classes participating, there was more competition this year and not everyone sold out of their product. Some students will be trying to sell their last remaining products at lunch tomorrow. Those students who made a profit will be repaying their parents today. They should be bringing home three envelopes: 1) their profit 2) the float 3) the loan repayment. They have already left their donation to charity with me at school. In the afternoon we began writing our blog posts about this experience. Please make sure you publish those tonight and leave another student in our class a comment on their blog.
